YouTube TV is getting four new channels this month thanks to an expanded partnership with Allen Media Group. The additions—HBCU Go, Cars.TV, Pets.TV, and TheGrio—are all included at no extra cost with your YouTube TV base subscription.
These join existing AMG channels already on the platform such as The Weather Channel, Comedy.TV, Justice Central, and Recipe.TV. Together, the new additions bring YouTube TV’s core channel lineup to 157 channels, not including the premium add-ons subscribers can purchase à la carte.
What the new channels offer
HBCU Go focuses on programming tied to historically Black colleges and universities, including live sports coverage, documentaries, educational content, and cultural events.
Cars.TV is built for automotive enthusiasts, featuring car reviews, major auto shows, industry news, and content centered on car culture.
Pets.TV does exactly what the name suggests—programming dedicated to pets and wildlife, from training tips to animal documentaries.
TheGrio delivers news, entertainment, and lifestyle content aimed at Black audiences, complementing its existing digital presence.
Expanding the Allen Media partnership
These four channels represent a deepening of YouTube TV’s relationship with billionaire Byron Allen’s media company. Earlier in 2026, YouTube TV renewed its carriage agreement with Allen Media Group to include continued access to The Weather Channel as well as Comedy.TV, Justice Central, and Recipe.TV. These latest additions build on that existing agreement by bringing more AMG programming into the fold.
As of now, the new channels are only available in YouTube TV’s base plan priced at $82.99 per month. You won’t find them in the streamer’s more affordable Sports, Entertainment, News, or Spanish-language packages, which can be mixed into custom bundles. These four channels probably won’t change anyone’s mind if they’re already avoiding YouTube TV, but they’re there to explore if you’re a subscriber looking for something new to watch.
