Huawei launched the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro in China last week alongside the nova 16 SE, 2026 MateBook Fold, and 2026 MatePad Pro. The new smartwatches offer modest upgrades over the GT 6 series and are available for purchase in China.
Design and Displays
The Watch GT 7 comes in 41mm and 46mm case sizes; the GT 7 Pro comes in a single size. Design-wise, both resemble their predecessors. The 41mm GT 7 features a 1.32-inch round AMOLED display, while the 46mm GT 7 and GT 7 Pro get a larger 1.47-inch panel. All three variants hit a peak brightness of around 2,000 nits.
The GT 7 uses a stainless steel case with a fiber-reinforced composite back. The premium GT 7 Pro upgrades to a titanium alloy case with a nanocrystalline ceramic rear panel.
Health and Fitness Tracking
Both watches include an optical heart rate sensor and a skin temperature sensor. The GT 7 Pro adds ECG support. Huawei has also introduced new sports modes and expanded health tracking features across the lineup.
