Microsoft has officially kicked off celebrations for Xbox’s 25th anniversary with a nostalgic special-edition console that pays tribute to the original Xbox generation. Unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase, the new Xbox Series X25 combines modern hardware with the iconic translucent green look that defined Microsoft’s first gaming console back in 2001.
Design and Features
The Series X25 features a translucent green shell inspired by the developer-kit look of the original Xbox. The power emblem lights up in green, and the front of the console includes a 25th-anniversary logo. Underneath the nostalgic exterior, the hardware specs remain identical to the standard Xbox Series X, including the same 1TB storage configuration.
