vivo X300 E appears in official trailer ahead of launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 confirmed

vivo is gearing up to unveil the X300 E as the newest addition to its X300 lineup in China today, July 27. The company had already teased the device’s design, and now a new video trailer reveals the smartphone from every angle while officially confirming its processor.

The vivo X300 E will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, and keeping everything running is a substantial 7,200 mAh battery. On the back, you’ll find a triple camera setup featuring a periscope telephoto lens. vivo has also partnered with ZEISS for the X300 E’s imaging system, though it’s not yet clear whether all three rear cameras will benefit from ZEISS technology — so far, the company has only confirmed it for the telephoto unit.

According to a listing on China Telecom’s website, the X300 E will come with a 6.59-inch display, run OriginOS 6 out of the box, and offer up to 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage.

Up front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera. Around back, the triple-camera array consists of two 50MP sensors and one 8MP sensor. The main camera uses a 50MP sensor, and we expect the telephoto camera to follow suit with another 50MP sensor, while the ultrawide will handle duties with the 8MP sensor.

Pricing, full specs, and availability details will all be revealed on July 27 — so stay tuned.
