The Tessan Aero 5000 magnetic power bank offers 5,000 mAh of capacity for recharging phones in a slim 6.9 mm (0.27 in.) thick profile, making it easy for daily carry with smartphones. It uses a pure cobalt semi-solid-state battery for reduced fire risks.
Tessan has announced the Aero 5000 ultra-thin magnetic power bank for MagSafe-compatible smartphones, including the Apple iPhone. The slim power bank utilizes a pure cobalt semi-solid-state battery that has a reduced risk of fire for increased safety.
The Aero 5000 measures just 103 × 69.8 × 6.9 mm (4.06 x 2.75 x 0.27 in.), helping maintain a slim profile when magnetically attached to the back of a phone. The front is made from titanium alloy, offering high durability and scratch resistance, while the back is made from PC+ABS to allow wireless charging to work.
Inside the SolidSafe battery, traditional liquid electrolyte is replaced with a semi-solid-state electrolyte that is much less likely to ignite when punctured or damaged. This is particularly important given the occurrence of lithium battery fires during flights and daily carry.
The power bank outputs up to 15 watts during wireless charging and up to 20 watts during wired charging from its 5,000 mAh (3.85 V, 19.25 Wh) battery pack.
The Aero 5000 power bank is available for pre-order for $69 from the Tessan website, with shipments expected to begin in October 2026.
