The Galaxy Z Fold8 is Samsung’s biggest bet for a mainstream foldable breakout. Industry insiders claim Samsung plans to manufacture more Fold8 units than the Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 combined. An early production order reportedly targets 2.8 million units—an ambitious number that signals Samsung’s confidence in the new form factor.
