Bose launched the original QuietComfort over-ear headphones in 2023, and three years later, the company appears to be gearing up for a successor. Ahead of an expected launch, official-looking renders and specifications for the Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) have surfaced online.
The team at HotEUDeals, in collaboration with reliable leaker OnLeaks, has shared high-quality renders of the upcoming headphones in six color options. The leak also reveals several key design changes and features.
Refreshed Design Language
According to the leaked promotional materials, the QuietComfort (2nd Gen) will feature a “refreshed look with a sleek, modern aesthetic” along with “softer, synthetic leather details.”
Key design changes include:
- Redesigned oval-shaped earcups — a departure from the rounder profile of the 1st Gen
- Flatter outer housing for a more streamlined appearance
- Wider headband wrapped entirely in padded soft synthetic leather
- Contrasting mesh lining color inside the earcups for visual pop
Audio and Noise Cancellation
- Three microphones per earcup for enhanced active noise cancellation
