Last year the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were launched in China and never made it outside the company home country. That is changing this year, however, according to a new report.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro at least will allegedly be released in markets like Europe, Türkiye, Russia, Taiwan, and Japan. A few days ago another report claimed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro would also launch in India alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Today rumor says the Xiaomi 18 Pro might not be coming to India, so the picture is still somewhat confusing. Today report also does not mention the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max at all, so we are not sure what is happening with that model.
According to past rumors, the Xiaomi 18 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC, and will feature two 200MP SmartSens camera sensors with 1/1.28-inch sensor size on the main camera. There will also be upgraded speakers, a larger vibration motor, and a battery with a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh, supporting 100W wired as well as wireless charging.
