Samsung starts testing One UI 9 for more devices as we inch closer to its official debut

Samsung launched the Android 16-based One UI 8.5 security update for the Galaxy A26 in May, and now we hear the Korean brand has started working on Android 17-based One UI 9 for this smartphone.

That’s not the only Galaxy device Samsung has started developing One UI 9 for, though. Here’s the list of Galaxy devices currently being tested with One UI 9:

  • Samsung Galaxy A26 — Firmware A266MUBU9DZF1
  • Samsung Galaxy A36 — Firmware A366BXXUADZG1 (Europe)
  • Samsung Galaxy A37 — Firmware A376BXXU3BZG1 (India)
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 (India and Europe)
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 (India and Europe)
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 (India and Europe)
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 (India and Europe)
  • Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (India)
  • Samsung Galaxy A15 4G — Firmware A155FXXUAFZG1
  • Samsung Galaxy M34

Samsung is clearly ramping up its One UI 9 testing across a wide range of devices, from flagships like the Galaxy Z Fold6 to mid-range devices like the Galaxy A26 and A36. This suggests the official rollout may not be too far off, especially as we inch closer to the next major Android release.
