Deals: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Under $1,000 — Galaxy S26 and S26+ Also on Sale
Samsung’s attention may be shifting toward the upcoming Galaxy Z foldable launch later this month, but that doesn’t mean you should overlook the incredible deals available right now on the Galaxy S26 series. If foldables aren’t your style, there’s never been a better time to pick up Samsung’s flagship slab phones at heavily discounted prices.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra — Under $1,000
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is back under the $1,000 mark for the 12GB/256GB model. While this isn’t the absolute lowest price we’ve seen, it’s within $50 of the best deal to date. Amazon currently offers the best price on the 256GB variant, making it a straightforward purchase without the hassle of trade-ins.
If you need more storage, the 512GB model is priced at $1,300 on both Amazon and Samsung.com. Samsung.com offers a $200 instant discount without trade-in, bringing it down to $1,100. If you do go the trade-in route, Samsung can knock up to $720 off the S26 Ultra price — but you’ll need to trade in an S25 Ultra to hit that maximum credit.
Is the upgrade worth it? The S26 Ultra brings significant improvements over its predecessor, including the new 200MP camera system with enhanced AI processing, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Exynos 2600 chipset (depending on region), and a brighter, more efficient display.
Samsung Galaxy S26+ — Great Value on 512GB
The Galaxy S26+ offers better value, especially on the 512GB model compared to the Ultra’s 512GB pricing. However, you do sacrifice some features by going with the Plus. The Ultra offers the superior camera system, the S Pen support, and a higher-resolution display.
If you’re considering the 256GB models, the $80 price difference between the S26+ and S26 Ultra makes the Ultra the better buy. That extra $80 gets you a dramatically better camera system, the S Pen, and a titanium frame.
Samsung Galaxy S26 — Decent but Not Spectacular
The standard Galaxy S26 has okay discounts at the moment, but nothing spectacular. A few weeks ago, we saw it below $700 for a 256GB unit. If you want the compact Galaxy and don’t need it immediately, it may be worth waiting a few more weeks for better pricing.
The Galaxy S26 is an excellent compact flagship, offering the same core performance as its larger siblings in a smaller, more pocketable package. It features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display, the latest chipset, and a capable triple camera system.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE — Lowest Price in 30 Days
The Galaxy S25 FE is at its lowest price in 30 days for the 256GB model. While we’re already seeing S26 FE leaks, it seems unlikely that Samsung will unveil the 2026 model this month. We expect the new FE to arrive in September.
Consider getting the S25 FE instead of the S26+ and upgrading in a few years. It’s also a strong alternative to the Galaxy A57, especially since the A57 isn’t currently on sale.
More Deals: Motorola and Sony
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Flip8 in a few weeks, but it will come with a price hike. Meanwhile, Motorola offers more affordable flip foldables with the Razr family. Last year’s Motorola Razr 2025 is about $130 cheaper than its 2026 replacement, and there isn’t a significant difference between the two — they have effectively the same displays and chipset.
The Motorola Razr 2026 does bring a better ultrawide camera (50MP vs. 13MP), a slightly larger battery (4,800mAh vs. 4,500mAh), and faster storage (UFS 3.1 vs. UFS 2.2). The premium Motorola Razr+ 2026 packs a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead of a Dimensity 7400-class chipset and offers UFS 4.0 storage.
For audio enthusiasts, the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are available for $250, while the Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds are $280. A developer recently released software that hooks into the head-tracking feature of Sony headphones for sim racing games, allowing you to “look around” in titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator and Assetto Corsa.
