Amazfit has been working on delivering better notifications from iPhones to its smart wearables. The company has now officially announced the launch of a beta testing program for its iOS Notification Forwarding feature. However, there is a catch — beta access is currently only available to users located in the European Union.

The new notification handling goes beyond simply displaying alerts — it also supports interaction with compatible apps. You can now view full messages, reply, send a quick response, or mark as read directly from your smartwatch.
The system works with supported apps like WhatsApp. Image previews and visual alerts are also supported. For example, you can receive notifications containing images from your doorbell and view them right on your wrist.

Amazfit is opening the beta program to the Cheetah 2 Ultra, Balance Ultra, and Balance 3 models initially. The Bip Max, Active 3 Premium, Cheetah 2 Pro, T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro and Ultra 2, and Balance 2 smartwatches are expected to be added to the program in the coming weeks or months.
The beta testing period kicks off on June 30, and Amazfit will gradually roll out updates to the Zepp App through the iOS App Store. To participate, you will need to have iOS 26.5 or later installed.
The good news is that once updated, the app will prompt you with a notification asking if you would like to have the new feature enabled. There is also a straightforward manual activation path through the Devices > Notifications > App Notifications menu.
