Samsung released the One UI 8.5 stable update for the Galaxy M55 last week, and now it’s the Galaxy M55s that is getting upgraded to stable One UI 8.5.
The One UI 8.5 stable update for the Galaxy M55s comes with firmware version M558BXXU3DZE3, and India is among the first countries to receive it. The update brings Samsung’s latest feature set, including enhanced customization options for the lock screen, improved multitasking capabilities with better split-screen support, and deeper integration with Samsung’s ecosystem services.
In addition to the Galaxy M55s, Samsung has also released One UI 8.5 updates for several other mid-range devices. The Galaxy F16, F17, F55, and F56 are now receiving the stable build, bringing a range of improvements including enhanced privacy controls, updated Samsung Health features, and the latest security patches. The Galaxy M55s update also includes the April 2026 security patch, addressing over 40 vulnerabilities.
The rollout is happening in phases, with Indian users being among the first to get access. Users in other regions can expect the update to arrive over the coming weeks as Samsung continues its staged deployment strategy. To check for the update, users can navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install on their devices.
