Motorola returns to the premium tablet market
More than a year after launching the Moto Pad 60 Pro, Motorola (under Lenovo’s wing) has unveiled its successor: the Moto Pad 70 Pro. And it’s a significant step up in nearly every category.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, the Moto Pad 70 Pro comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola promising upgrades to Android 17 and 18, plus security updates through 2030.
Display and multimedia
The tablet features a 13-inch 3.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, 800 nits HBM brightness, and Dolby Vision support. Whether Motorola used an LCD or AMOLED panel hasn’t been confirmed, but the specs alone suggest a premium viewing experience.
Quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos round out the audio package, making this a strong contender for media consumption.
Battery, cameras, and extras
The 10,200mAh battery supports 45W charging, though Motorola bundles a 68W adapter in the box. The rear camera uses a 13MP sensor, while the front-facing camera is 8MP. Other highlights include:

The Moto Pad 70 Pro comes with the Moto Pen Pro stylus included, while the Snap-On Keyboard is sold separately. It’s priced at INR 36,999 (8GB/128GB) and INR 39,999 (8GB/256GB), and goes on sale in India starting July 4.
