Last week, reliable Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station posted a detailed spec sheet for the Redmi K100 Pro. Now DCS has refined the details significantly.
The biggest change involves battery capacity. Originally reported as being 9,000mAh or higher, the latest post from DCS clarifies that the battery capacity will “start with an 8” — meaning it will land somewhere between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh.
That would make it the largest battery in the K-series yet, though the record isn’t clear. The Redmi K90 Max (there was no “K90 Pro”) has an 8,550mAh cell.
The earlier post pegged wired charging at 100W but didn’t mention wireless. The new post fills that gap: the Redmi K100 Pro will support 50W wireless charging.
The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The new post mentions a “dual-core platform,” suggesting an additional chip similar to the Xiaomi D2 found in the K90 Max and K90 Pro Max. The D2 provided extra AI compute, which was used to enhance graphics sent to the display.
Speaking of which, the K100 Pro may feature a 185Hz display — games will likely need the D2 or equivalent chip to hit that refresh rate. DCS calls it an “Ultra-smooth display,” a term Xiaomi uses for its gaming monitors and TVs.
Other rumored specs include a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto module capable of macro photography, symmetrical stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and a “fully waterproof” body (likely IP69) with an Apple-inspired design.
Leaks for the Redmi K100 Pro Max have also surfaced. It’s expected to feature a 1/1.28″ 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope, and the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset (versus Gen 5 for the K100 Pro). Pricing rumors are reportedly concerning.
