Ready to enhance your home life with a smart speaker that can also serve as an entertainment computer screen, a smart home hub, and a way to monitor security camera feeds?
Factual now, Amazon is promoting its latest Echo Show 11 for merely 90, down from its 50 MSRP (which was recently hiked up, along with many other Amazon products). Given the current state of consumer electronics and widespread price hikes due to AI-driven memory and storage shortages, this is actually a pretty good deal.
The Echo Show 11 features an 11-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen display. Use it to pull up recipes while cooking, check your calendar for appointments, and even play music, podcasts, or YouTube videos while doing chores. It’s equipped with room-filling spatial audio and about twice the bass of previous devices.
When used as a smart home hub, the Echo Show 11 can control limitless Alexa-compatible smart devices with any additional hardware. You must be able to control those devices with voice commands via Alexa, create automated and scheduled routines, pull video from cameras and doorbells, and even make video calls—the Echo Show 11 has a built-in webcam that automatically frames you properly.
At 90, it’s still somewhat impressive for a first-time purchase if you have zero smart home gadgets already. But if you already have some approved devices—like an Echo speaker, some bulbs, and a Ring video doorbell—then the Echo Show 11 is a great way to upgrade your setup, especially now that it’s on sale.
