Nothing’s open-ear Ear (open) TWS buds launched in September 2024 in a single white finish. On May 11, 2026, a blue variant joins the lineup—teased on X with a characteristically Nothing poetic thread referencing Yves Klein, Walkmans, and swimming pools.
The Ear (open) uses an open-ear design (air conduction, not bone conduction) with 14.2mm drivers, 42dB adaptive ANC, and 30-hour total battery with the case. They retail at $149 but currently sell for $99 on Nothing’s US site. The blue model matches that pricing.
Nothing’s color drops have become a reliable pattern: launch in white, add a statement hue months later. The blue Ear (open) continues the strategy—and at $99, it’s a compelling open-ear alternative to Shokz and Bose’s pricier entries.
