This New TV-Tracking App Could Do for Shows What Letterboxd Does for Movies

Letterboxd might just be my favorite app — I love tracking the media I consume and making lists. Letterboxd nails that for movies. Goodreads serves a similar purpose for books, though I don’t love it quite as much. Now, a new app called Bingers wants to be the Letterboxd for TV shows.

What Bingers Does

Bingers lets you track every show you watch, rate episodes, write reviews, and build lists — “Comfort Rewatches,” “Shows I Abandoned,” “Best Finales,” whatever you want. You can follow friends, see what they’re watching, and discover new series through their activity. The interface is clean, the social features feel natural, and it doesn’t try to be a streaming guide or recommendation engine — it’s purely a tracking and social platform.

Why This Matters

TV tracking has always been messier than movie tracking. Shows have multiple seasons, dozens of episodes, and you might watch them over years. Bingers handles this granularity well — you can rate individual episodes, mark specific seasons as complete, and see your progress at a glance.

The app is free on iOS and Android. No subscription, no ads, no feature gates. If you’re the type who keeps a mental (or actual) list of every show you’ve seen, this is worth a download.
