Back in April, rumors suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 would only support 25W wired charging — matching its predecessor and, in fact, every Galaxy Z Flip since the Z Flip4.
Now, several SGS certifications for a range of Flip8 models have confirmed exactly that. The phone tops out at 9V 2.77A, which translates to 25W. The same April rumor also pointed to a 4,300 mAh battery — identical capacity to its predecessor.
So if you were hoping for charging upgrades with the Flip8, they won’t be here. The same goes for the camera department. What we are likely getting is a slightly thinner and lighter device, along with two chipset options depending on the market.
